S.T.A.B.L.E. (Supporting The Area’s Bipolar kids through Love and Education)

S.T.A.B.L.E.’s next planned meeting  is Tuesday, December 16th, 2003, from 7-9 p.m. Meetings are held at Grace United Church of Christ, 2300 Cleveland Avenue N.W. – near 25th St. & Cleveland Ave. Enter in the back of the church; if the door is locked, press the buzzer. Meeting room is the first on the right.

This is a parent-run support group for PARENTS and MAIN CAREGIVERS of children (and teens who were symptomatic at a young age) with Bipolar Disorder or at risk for Bipolar Disorder. The mission of this group is to provide emotional support and linkage to resources to those parents and main caregivers raising children with bipolar or at risk for bipolar. Parents and Main Caregivers of children with other disorders such as ADHD, Depression, ODD, Conduct Disorder, etc. are also invited to attend or email Debby until they or another parent starts a support group for those specific disorders.
